孩子之前的VR写的是旧护照号，但是现在旧护照过期了，VR还在有效期，旧护照已经被剪了，申请的新护照已经到手。这种情况下，是需要用新到手的护照，重新申请一个VR是吗？当前停留的境内的话，还算是合法停留吗（旧VR对应的PASSPORT号已经失效）？谢谢
不需要更新VR，仍然合法，只是换了护照，没有换人
